As part of the ABBG services we also provide www.HealthcareSoundoff.com, a web blog that provides useful, detailed information that not only educates enlightens and empowers us to make quality decisions about our work related benefits but gives members the tools to navigate and utilize the health care system in a cost effective manner so the quality of care received is not compromised.
What is Alternate Benefits Buying Group
Alternate Benefits Buying Group is a membership organization designed to pool member risks in a way to allow us to provide traditional work benefits that are the lowest possible price and highest quality. Membership is restricted to
- Are Self Employed;
- Are required by Virginia Law to obtain a license to practice their profession or job (lawyers, accountants, realtors, beauticians to name a few);
- Are employed but their employer does not provide health benefits;
- Are dependents not covered by an employed family relative.
- Have a checking account.
At first ABBG will provide health insurance through a licensed Virginia health insurance company; long term care insurance; dental insurance, and other health care indemnity insurance for specific diseases and risks.
